Overview
After running a manual Roster Import you receive a notification that the import failed. Errors in the results email are preceded by a warning similar to, Warning: 65% (650 of 1000) of <FIELD_NAME> missing from the import (exceeded limit of 50%).
Solution
This issue occurs when one or more fields in your import file have changed by more than 50%. For example, if all 1000 of your users have a "Home Phone" but your most recent import file is missing this data for 650 of those users, that would represent a change of 65% which will cause this error and halt processing of other events related to that field. There are several options to resolve this issue.
- Correct the imported data or use the Force option on the Roster Import which will ignore the percent of records being changed and process the change according to your configuration
- You can contact support to adjust AlertFind settings, keep current devices, and avoid mass deletion if you don't want that.
After applying a solution import should complete successfully.
