Users are Duplicated after Import

Overview

If you are using roster import you might notice that some users are duplicated after the import.

Information

This might be a result of manual user creation from AlertFind portal UI, in case manual creation is not prohibited. You can contact support to update AlertFind settings in order to delete manually created users with every import. Consider this option thoughtfully as all the manually created users are going to be deleted, even with admin roles.

Prerequisites

EPA Admin or EPA Management permissions.

Solution

Confirm with the customer that they understand that this update will result in deletion of all manually created users after each import including those with admin roles.
Update AlertFind configuration MAP file in order to delete manually created users after each import.
