Overview
After uploading your CSV file to the AlertFInd automated roster import server you might notice that it is not running, failing or user data is not being updated.
Solution
This issue might be caused by blank lines in the CSV file you import into AlertFInd. More about roster import here.
- Open your CSV file in Notepad, Notepad++, or any similar plain text editor.
- Check that number of users in the roster CSV file is equal to the number of rows (excluding headers, if applicable)
- Remove blank lines from the file or ask the person responsible for the data export to remove the blank lines from the file.
- Resubmit the roster file for automated import without blank lines.
