AlertFind Error: Uploaded Compressed File Have Packaged [FILE_NAME] But It's Not Configured in Mapping File

Overview

While manually importing an AlertFind Roster, you receive the error message, ERROR: Uploaded compressed file have packaged [FILE_NAME.csv] but it's not configured in mapping file [FOLDER/MAP_FILE_NAME.map]. Note: The FILE_NAME, FOLDER, and MAP_FILE_NAME are specific to your organization and typically named after your organization.


Solution

This error occurs when the filename of the import file does not match the name that is expected from your last import.

  1. Click Settings > Data Management

  2. Click Configure to see the file name used in the last import. Change your import file name to match the name precisely including capitalization.

After changing the file name to match the previous import file name, the import is successful.
