Azure Active Directory Synchronization Fails When MFA is Enabled

Overview

When the Azure Active Directory (AD) account used by AlertFind to connect to the Azure AD has Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled, the AlertFind Azure AD Connector will be unable to pull data causing synchronization to fail.


Solution

  1. To resolve this issue, modify the service account used by AlertFind so that Multi-Factor Authentication is not enabled.

Once MFA is disabled the AlertFind Azure AD connector will be able to connect and synchronize user data.
